About Northern Districts Angling Club
The Northern Districts Angling Club, is a shore based fishing club Adelaide, South Australia. The fishing club was formed in November 1960 and on the 4th December that year a coach was hired for its members to enjoy a days fishing. That tradition continues today and every month since then for over 60 years we have hired a coach and gone fishing for the day. –(except December)
The Club normally does four freshwater trips a year at such venues as Lake Bonney, Cobdogla, Waikerie, Cadell, Morgan, Meningie to name a few. The remaining seven trips are saltwater over on Yorke Peninsular at Corny Point, Dolphin Beach, Pondelowie Bay, West Cape, Butlers Beach, Troubridge Point, Edithburg or down south to Waitpinga and Parsons Beach.
The administration of the Club has been supported like no other and because of this no Club event has been cancelled in our 60 years.
The Committee meets monthly and a newsletter is either posted or emailed to all members advising of the last trip results, up and coming events and any changes to State or Club Laws.
