SAFETY TIP Remember when fishing the rocks be very careful of rocks covered in algae, these appear black to green in colour and when wet are extremely slippery, add water and they become lethal. Don’t take any unnecessary risks, always make sure you have an exit away from on coming waves if they become threatening or the tide rises. If in doubt, then it is probably good sign not to fish there! As we could encounter rough seas, rogue waves, slippery rocks, crumbling cliff faces, etc. use your common sense. Fish in safety and remember, no fish is worth risking your life for. For the supervision of Juniors rock fishing, a maximum of two juniors per senior (with permission), refer to By-Law 26.
If you would like to join us on the next trip have a look at the calendar or check out our fishing club memberships.
