Fishing Competition Adelaide
The Northern Districts Angling Club has a fishing competition in Adelaide, South Australia which runs all year round. The competition year runs from the 1st October to 30th September inclusive. The format consists of a competition fishing trip normally on the last Sunday of each month except in December, ie. 11 trips in all.

Fishing Competition Categories
Whatever a members age is on the 1st October will determine the division they shall compete in. Minimum eligible age for membership to the Club is 12 years of age. The divisions are:
- Junior Division 12 – 17 years inclusive
- Senior Division I & II 18 – 54 years
- Veteran Division I & II 55 years and over
The method for determining nominations for Senior Division I and II and Veteran Division I and II is based on a statistical function and Accreditations.
Points Scheme
Points gained by members per fishing competition trip are based upon attendance, heaviest bag overall and the greatest number of fish caught.
Points are awarded for:
- Heaviest Bag Overall 100 points, all other bags a % thereof
- Greatest Number of Fish 100 points, all other bags a % thereof
- Attendance 10 points
- Maximum points per trip 210 points
