The last trip was a mixed bag with nine members choosing the Edithburgh jetty while seven ventured
on to Troubridge.
The weather forecast was for high winds and occasional showers and the Bureau of Meteorology nailed this one! The morning was reasonable but the winds picked up in the afternoon and shifted
from the west to south west causing higher seas.
Most at Troubridge bagged out on tommies with the odd sweep caught along with a few salmon trout while on the jetty Vince Zammit pulled heaps of tommies while Joe Librandi bagged out on squid and Alex Lawrie bagged a nice king george whiting.
Our competition for the heaviest sweep, salmon and king george whiting went to Adnan Zubcevic, Rob Wackett and Alex Lawrie respectively. Again thanks to all for following our protocols during loading unloading and entering the coach.
