We had 23 members attend and the weigh in consisted of tommy roughs, mullet, sweep, rock cod, zebra fish, leather jackets, salmon/trout, drummer, trevally, garfish, flathead and king george whiting.
The weather was suppose to be high swells, raining and windy however the swell was reasonable, the rain stayed away but the wind did cause a bit of chaos for those fishing up high. I had the most points for the day and the heaviest bag in Veterans Division 1 while Tony Mosel took out the heaviest bag in Seniors Division 1.
Shane Strachan won Senior Division 2 and the honours in the Veteran Division 2 category went to Joe Librandi who had the heaviest bag overall for the day and in it was the heaviest fish for the day, well done!
Notable mentions: Peter Riddle and Rob Wackett for catching a considerable amount of and sweep, as well. Craig Ranford for a nice king george whiting and a flathead and Taffy for the solitary garfish. To Peter and Craig again for a couple of nice trevally while Joe Librandi gets an honourable mention for a pseudo bag out on mullet.
