Meningie January 2018

We had 18 members and 3 visitors attend and the weigh in consisted of
carp and redfin.

A very good day weather wise and there was enough cloud cover to
keep the sun at bay but it was still hot enough to remind us it was a summers
day.

Rob Wackett took out the honours in Seniors Division 1 with the heaviest
bag for the day and the most fish. There were no Senior Division 2
members on the trip, I think that is a first in the history of the club.

Heaviest bag for Veteran Division 1 was Frank Kertes with three of the
other four vet div ones less than 4kg behind him, well done! Honours in
the Veteran Division 2 category went to Joe Librandi while the heaviest
fish for the day was brought to scale by Ray Gedritis.

Heaviest bag junior was Bradley Harrison who also leads the Heaviest
Nominated Species – Freshwater.

Notable mentions to Ray Gedritis, Bradley Harrison, Antony Jackson,
Vince Zammit and Tony Mosel for each catching a redfin. Ray and
Bradley both caught redfin at the same venue last year.

A reminder to all to carry your Fish Size Limits
sheet with you and a ruler.

If you would like to join us on the next trip have a look at the calendar or check out our fishing club memberships.
